Update…..had parent move in with us. Mark and the gang were amazing. They moved both lifts from Moms house to ours with care and had her set up in no time. Thanks so much!!!

The turn around was less then 24 hrs and we had an awesome stairlift installed in their 3 level home.

All I can say is amazing. Both of my parents are not able to manage stairs. Today I was at the house and Dad had tried to contact Acorn Canada for 3 days with no response even though they pay 1400.00 a year for a maintenance plan. I thought I found an emergency number for Acorn but it was Mark from the stairlift store. He walked me thru a simple repair and the lift is working ok until we get a proper repair. Mark is incredible and once we are done with out Acorn contract we will use him from now on. Thank you Mark

WOW! What an amazing team. My Acorn Stairlift, as for many people, is a lifeline and at around 10:30 this morning it came to a stop. Yeah, wouldn't move. Did the usual reset and checked that nothing was stuck under the chair, but no joy. At 11:00 I phoned The Stairlift Store for service. This week possibly? Within 24 hours perhaps? But less than an hour later super-tech FC phoned to say he would be at our door in Guelph in the next 30 minutes. Talk about relief, this was amazing service.

Problem diagnosed and fix completed. This really helpful and pleasant gentleman checked to make sure other likely culprits were functioning as they should and then did a return test run to confirm he was satisfied.

Satisfied? My partner and I were delighted. What fantastic service. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

So Mark saved the day once again. My 97 year old mother got stuck in the basement. Lucky there is a phone to call me. So I came running.
After some words with Mark I was able to understand the problem and come up with a solution on my own. I called him back to report my success so he will have a solution in his back pocket for an unusual problem. I rarely post a review but I can't say enough good things about the stair lift store.

Heartfelt appreciation to Mark at the Stairlift Store. My mother's stairlift (installed 15+ years ago) suddenly stopped working. The battery was fully charged, the safety sensors were responsive, yet the unit did not display any error codes and would not move in spite of my husband's best efforts. We left a detailed message at the Stairlift Store, and Mark returned our call within 15 minutes. He patiently walked my husband through several steps, diagnosed the problem, and guided us through the resolution. We are extremely grateful to Mark for his support. I will absolutely recommend Mark and the Stair Lift Store to everyone.
I called Mark on Thursday looking for a used stair lift for my Mom. She has terminal cancer and recently got sick with pneumonia. We needed this stair lift put in as soon as possible, for the best price possible. Mark was amazing and told me he had a few used lifts available, one that would fit our space and needs perfectly. He also told me that they would be happy to come and take measurements that day and install the lift on the next day, Friday.
Friday morning at 9am, Frank called me to say he was loaded up, on the way and would arrive by 10am as I live in Guelph. He was right on time. He came in the house, had a quick look and told me he could have our lift installed in an hour. I sat down and watched some TV and before I knew it, Frank was done! He was friendly, professional and efficient. Done in an hour bang on, if not a few minutes less. Frank then showed me how to use the lift, explained codes on the unit, explained best cleaning practices and told me if I have any problems or questions to just call and let them know.
This process took less than 24 hours from my first phone call to Mark to Frank finishing installation.
I couldn't have asked for a quicker, smoother more pleasurable experience. This lift will make a huge difference for my Mom still having some independence in the house. It also means that she doesn't need to waste energy trying to get up and down the stairs or feel like a burden on us needing help to get around.
